Today, the Catalan goat breed recovery project does not benefit from any subsidy or public assistance. If we want this cattle, which is part of our history, of our culture and our biodiversity continue to enrich our heritage·school, caring for the forests and offering himself as good food, it is necessary to continue growing this herd until the reintroduction of the Catalan Goat in the Montsec cattle ranch.

We can put the work into it, but until the recovery herd achieves economic viability, we need cabbage·workers and col·workers: the figure of the godparents.

The godparents of a specimen of Goat Catalana will be able to name the chosen animal, visit the barnyard or take part in a pasture day, they will receive a gift of a product derived from the flock and, dos cops l’any, an informative circular on the evolution of the project.

They exist 3 sponsorship modalities:

1) Sponsorship annual of 120 € which would include an invitation for 2 adults at the lunch of the Day of the Catalan Goat that we celebrate every year in Vilanova de Meià.

2) Sponsorship annual of 60 € (or an amount to decide if someone doesn’t get there)

3) Sponsorship no monetary, offering a cabbage·professional work (administrative, veterinary, of communication, carpentry, welding, …) o materials.
